Delicious, and the big plus is it's still open on fasting month. Just go through small alley on the left side and you'll find a door.

Best Indonesian Food in Mataram. If you are looking for delicious Indonesian food come to this place. Many choices of different Indonesian dishes all with amazing taste. Super clean place with very friendly owners and staff. Value for money 5/5.

My favorite javanese food in Mataram, I love the nasi pecel, it reminds me of the origanility of Pecel Nganjuk. I tried tahu isi it's taste good too. The place is very clean and the hospitality is nice. Recommended.

If you're traveling to Lombok Island, don't miss the Indonesian traditional food stall Cim S.M.A.K. Warong. We found it randomly on Google Maps and ended up going back a second time the next day, even before our flight. If you're familiar with Malaysian food, you might know about Nasi Kuning, but the taste here is different from Malaysia. The rice is mixed with fried coconut shreds, giving it a fragrant aroma. It's not just casually made; it's prepared with care and a meticulous process. Another highlight is Nasi Rawon, which consists of white rice paired with a bowl of black soup containing beef chunks and tiny bean sprouts. You might wonder why beef soup is paired with bean sprouts, but the combination works well. The broth is flavorful, made with local herbs, similar to the broth in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The owner will ask if you want to add a duck egg, which is also delicious! The duck eggs in Indonesia aren't too salty, and when paired with the white rice and beef soup, it's heavenly! Other delicious dishes include Lontong Sayur. If you order Nasi Campur, you can ask what side dishes are available. One day, the default side dishes included quail eggs. The "Three Musketeers" of fried foods—fried tofu, spring rolls, and fried siu mai—are all delicious! Remember to ask the staff to cut them open; the fried tofu is stuffed with minced meat and vegetables, making it quite tasty! Don't forget to pair them with their special sweet sauce. Also, when you're in Indonesia, don't miss out on drinks like Es Campur and Es Kacang Ijo (green bean). These are sweet shaved ice desserts with various toppings. I also tried the citrus coconut water, Es Jergan. Lombok's volcanic soil is excellent for growing citrus, and the citrus here is quite good! If you're not in the mood for rice, curry, chili sauce, or greasy food, you can opt for Mie Bakso, a small bowl of beef ball soup noodles, which is light and low in calories. But if you want something with a richer broth and a stronger Indonesian spice flavor, you can go for Soto Bakso. Alright, that's my introduction. You can take the pictures and names of the Indonesian dishes I provided and order them. I don't remember the exact prices, but they are reasonable and clearly listed in the store. Before we left, the owner even helped us make a TikTok video and took pictures with us. We learned about the history of the store, and it turns out all the delicious food comes from the recipes of the owner's late mother. The name of the store, S.M.A.K., comes from the school nearby. We figured out after two days that "Cim" is a Hokkien word meaning "Auntie." So the store's name means "the auntie who sold food at the school." A friendly reminder: the owner and the owner’s wife only speak Indonesian and basic English, and there is no pork served here. Lastly, before we left, we noticed they also had two types of traditional Chinese pastries: mung bean cakes and peanut pastries. We spent the rest of our Indonesian Rupiah to buy several to take back to Malaysia. They turned out to be super delicious! Even our Hokkien friends and elderly parents said they were great! Next time I return to Lombok, I'll definitely buy more to take back!

Great Warung in the area. The food is really tasty, the staff is friendly and you will enjoy eating with local people at lunch time. I have been there with friends and we really enjoyed our Nasi Kuning.
